2458Today I…
… applied for a second job. I dropped off those hemmed pants. I finished writing my bill for this month to the dry cleaner. I pulled an extra-long shift at work due to an “incoming” storm. I cleaned up the kitchen, mostly just tidying things that had been left out today. I wrote out the check for March’s rent. I tried a new breakfast food. I did not drink any caffeine after noon. I took a shower and worked out the knots in my shoulders. I plotted out the quilt I’m making for my new niece or nephew.
Before I go to bed, I will write my paper for Art History. Tomorrow I will write our Notice of Intent to Vacate and deposit the rent money into my account.

Today I…
… decided to forgo a nap in favor of cleaning the kitchen. I located the source of the “rancid yak butter” smell, cleaned the entirety of the rice cooker and put it away in the closet. I started on the dished and made some positive headway toward having them all done at once. I did not leave any passive-agressive notes for my roommates after vigorously scrubbing palak paneer off a plate. I located a tutorial for an acceptably sized diaper bag in which to store all the adorableness that I’m making for my niece/nephew to be.
Later today I will take out the trash, thereby entirely eliminating the source of the foul odor that plagues the apartment. I will remember to pick up my paystub from work if I haven’t already. I will hem up those pants for the Dry Cleaners when I get home from work. I will make sure the kitchen is 100% unfucked before I go to bed.
Crock o’ Rancid Yak Butter
…. or rather, pot o’ rancid mashed potatoes. And dried on beans. And 2 weeks worth of dishes because no one bothered to put the dishes away last week and they just sat in the dishwasher. Ugh, this kitchen needs help.
I have to leave for work at 3:30. No one else is home, but the kitchen REEKS. Can I get it done? Oh I think so.

This is my new tattoo!
I got it done last Thursday at Forevermore in Glasgow, Scotland.
It took three hours and I genuinely didn’t find it sore. Bits were stingy but I have a feather on my ribs and I just don’t think any other tattoo I get will compare to how painful that was…even if this one did take twice as long.
However, my foot swelled up so much. Couldn’t walk for two days But hey, I think it’s healed up pretty well!
Yuhon again, what can I say…
I wonder if I ever stop experimenting.
